Our story really started on job sites across Missouri, where our owner spent over 30 years building for big names like Sears and talking with our kids and friends about a better way. We pictured a family crew that treated customers, employees, and neighbors with the same honesty we expect at home, and actually showed up when promised. Vanguard grew out of those talks and turned into a local team focused on fences, decks, and long term relationships.
For years, our family talked about how we would run jobs if it were our name on the truck. Better treatment for customers, better treatment for workers, and a place where everyone shared in the success. At fifty years old, our founder finally said, it is time. Vanguard was built to give our family and friends steady, honest work and to give homeowners quality fences and decks at fair prices without big company headaches or subcontractor surprises.
Today every project stays in house with our own family based crew. We listen carefully during your vision meeting, explain material choices in plain language, and keep you updated between the first post hole and the final walkthrough.
